Well hello, there!
Nice of you to stop by.
Hello!
I am a life-long gamer who used to spend her summers inside (away from those evil UV rays, of course) playing fighting games and RPGs with stories and immersive experiences that I will forever hold dear to my heart (yes, even Final Fantasy 8). My passion is fueled in part by contributing to projects that create memorable experiences through stories that audiences worldwide can resonate and inspire.
For the last 6 years, I've animated for games, from gameplay combat, traversal and locomotion, gestures, and cinematic previs. My credits include Skate. at Full Circle, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake at Aspyr, Wizard101 at KingsIsle Entertainment, RPG Dice: Legend of Whitestone at WIMO Games, and Gen:LOCK at Rooster Teeth.
Over the past year and a half, I've had the pleasure of working with Toki Games on their debut deck-builder, Monster Tavern. As the lead character designer on the team, I helped establish the game's artistic direction and created monster characters you serve at the Tavern. My goal for character design is always to bring out personality in each character and hopefully contribute to a more immersive, enjoyable gameplay experience. I've created marketing assets and splash pages to promote this game as well for social media and Steam. Toki Games took home their first award last July, winning Best Deckbuilder at this year's Too Many Games Convention! Mayhaps check it out!
Contributing to a production, whether through animation, art, or design, is what keeps me invested in this industry.
Outside of work, I'm usually chillin' with my cats, doodling/animating, jamming to music, pawning my excess childhood stuff on ebay...Wild times over here, haha.
Please feel free to shoot me an email for business inquiries or just to say 'Hi'. We can talk about cats, music, cheesy (and awesome) 80s/90s action movies, Russell Crowe on a moped, animation - the list goes on.
Keep at your absolute best,
Angela Colvin
